History behind the vision of the PAC:

The Columbia County Performing Arts Center is a 85,000 square foot facility that boasts 2,100 seats and serves as the anchor of The Plaza development in Evans, Georgia.

Former Board of Commission Chairman Ron C. Cross and Commissioners Doug Duncan, Trey Allen, Gary Richardson, and Bill Morris envisioned having a cultural arts center for our citizens to be able to enjoy live Broadway shows, events, musicals, plays, concerts, comedians, family-friendly entertainment, and locally-based arts organizations without having to travel to Augusta, Atlanta, Greenville, or Charlotte.
