Since its electrifying premiere in 1991, Dracula: Ballet with a Bite has captivated audiences nationwide. This year marks the 33rd production of this spellbinding gothic romance. Starrett assures that each performance season brings new surprises and says, “Even if you’ve seen the ballet before, you never know what’s new in our bag of tricks and treats.” This season, the ballet will feature new backdrops, custom-made to enhance the production.

The ballet features an original rock/jazz score composed by Thomas E. Semanski, celebrated for his ballet compositions, including Dracula: Ballet with a Bite, Beauty and the Beast, Frankenstein, and Dracula’s Revenge. Semanski received the Popular Music Award from the American Society of Composers for his work on Dracula: Ballet with a Bite. His powerfully expressive music enhances the ballet’s seductive chills and thrills.
