History behind the vision of the PAC:
The Columbia County Performing Arts Center is an 85,000 square foot facility that boasts 2,062 seats and serves as the anchor of The Plaza development in Evans, Georgia.
Former Board of Commission Chairman Ron C. Cross and Commissioners Doug Duncan, Trey Allen, Gary Richardson and Bill Morris envisioned implementing a cultural arts center in the heart of Evans. Our citizens are now able to enjoy live Broadway shows, events, musicals, plays, concerts, comedies, family-friendly entertainment and locally-based arts organizations without having to travel to Augusta, Atlanta, Greenville or Charlotte.
